Hi, I’m Alyssa and I’m a serial creative project starter and a mommy-to-be from Santa Barbara, CA. I am an emerging Asian American artist and writer from Ventura Avenue who strives to understand my eastern roots and my western faith to get through the motions of an extra ordinary life. I enjoy discovering new ways to utilize my media and writing skills in an ongoing list of creative side projects.

I have always had a strong creative side and began to focus more on painting through my young adulthood. During my college studies, I explored other crafts like screen printing and ceramics, but I would always return to a room filled with paintings and works in progress no matter how busy my daily twenty-something life got. The name of my 2022 art collection and novel idea is called The Sky Hasn’t Fallen Yet, and so I have been obsessed with this idea for years now and I am determined to write it one day soon!

My channel is a space for my creative and personal developments as I pursue my dream to write a book someday, and a new plot twist is that I’m pregnant! What a surprise and a blessing, and I know that my baby will be a catalyst for necessary changes in my life that will be guided by love. I am so excited and nervous at the same time to share this chapter of my life in a series of video diaries, and as I continue to verbally process my thoughts I hope to just be my real and authentic self.
